Wiring Chart – Blue Brown Black White Green-Yellow – What Do They Mean? July 19, 2016 – Posted in: Tutorials
Many of our customers end up returning units because of improper installation. Whether it’s not reading the instructions or just messing the wiring up. Here is a simple chart we made to match up wires correctly. Look at the chart vertically to “create a match”. The most common confusion is brown and blue wires from companies like ours since we sell to multiple markets with universal voltage.
Notice how wires can change from country to country, location, etc. The ground wire can be bare and doesn’t need to be wrapped in electric tape. We always recommend you have an electrician for installations.
I have been the project manager for Modern.Place since early 2016, spending three of those years working overseas on the manufacturing & procurement side of the LED lighting industry. Constantly learning and passing on knowledge to others while excited for what the lighting industry will involve into next.
